Piggyback Contract

Description

The City of Aspen is currently seeking qualified contractors to provide mechanical, plumbing and HVAC services for over City 20 commercial and 50 residential units/buildings over the next two years on an as needed basis. Services may include but are not limited to:

New construction
Renovation projects
Tenant improvements
Services upgrades
Inspections
Retrofits
Humidification
Air filtration
Building controls
HVAC
Design-assist construction process

The City understands not all contractors offer all the services requested. Contractors may submit a proposal for the service(s) they offer. The City intends to contract with as many contractors as needed to ensure all services needs are met: Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing. The maximum dollar value per year is capped at $250,000.00. There is no guaranteed minimum value.
Although we expect the Asset Management department to be the main users, all City departments will be able to order work from the agreement(s).

Additional Bidding Instructions

Respondents may submit proposals electronically on the Bidnet Direct website or deliver to the City of Aspen’s Purchasing office, 130 S. Galena Street, Aspen, Colorado 81611. Paper copies must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Proposal for 2018-003 As Needed Mechanical, HVAC, and Plumbing Services” on the outside of the envelope.

Electronic submissions must be compiled as a single PDF or Word document. The project number must be in the title of the document along with the company name. For example: 2018-003 by XYZ Company.
