Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) document is to solicit a complete Commissioning Agent services proposal from qualified firms or teams for the Aspen Civic Space Relocation Project.
The project will be seeking at least LEED Gold certification, as well as Well Building certification. This project consists of two discrete buildings, the first is the Aspen Police Department (with approx. 15,000 gsf of conditioned program, plus 20,000 gsf below grade parking structure) and the municipal offices/City Hall (52,000 gsf, plus potential below grade parking addition).
Given how the projects are being funded and current schedule, the two buildings should be treated as separate activities for the commissioning agent. However, at this stage it is the intention that there will NOT be two commissioning agents across the two buildings.
This RFP is open to all professional commissioning firms with the necessary experience and capabilities to perform the consultant commissioning services as described in this document for the two building locations of the Aspen Civic Space Relocation Project. To allow the City of Aspen (Owner) to fully understand your firm or team’s intended approach to the project, carefully prepare a response based on the information required in this Request for Proposal.
