The Hearing Officer will be on an as-needed basis depending on case load. The Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Authority (APCHA) looks to contract with a professional to serve as Hearing Officer for hearing appeals of Notice of Violations, Special Reviews, Grievances in accordance with affordable housing deed restrictions and APCHA Housing Guidelines. The Hearing Officer shall be appointed by and serve at the discretion of the APCHA Board of Directors and shall have the authority to assess fines and/or require the eviction of deed restricted tenants or the sale of deed restricted units.
