The scope of this proposal requires a communications team to provide marketing and promotion services to saturate the Aspen and Roaring Fork communities with awareness of SHIFT and consistent calls to participate in its programs. Commuters, residents, and long-term visitors of every kind must know about and be motivated to participate in SHIFT. Proposers should present a plan with one consistent point of contact who will work directly with City staff and the proposer should manage its creative team to complete all components of the plan, with support from City staff.
This RFP is asking offerors to submit a high-level marketing, promotion, and event strategy overview for SHIFT to be in effect from January through August 2019. The elements we expect to see in this overview are detailed below. The vision is to actively engage stakeholders beginning in February to educate and foster buy-in to the Miles app and the second transit app as the action-oriented marketing plan ramps up for SHIFT’s launch in June 2019. In order to reach these goals, we envision deep community engagement through creative events, pop ups designed to meet people where they are, and partnerships with other existing events up and down the Valley. By our June launch, we aim to engage with 2,000-3,500 community members on Miles or other project related apps or engagement vehicles.
