RFP-2016-011 - Park Circle Pedestrian Improvement Project

Summary of Specifications:
Park Circle, between Smuggler Road and King Street, has a large number of pedestrians and bicyclists that use the roadway for travel due to the lack of a path for pedestrian use. There is an existing sidewalk along Smuggler Road that wraps around Park Circle to the west. The Park Circle Pedestrian Improvement Project will be a link to this existing sidewalk, Smuggler Mountain recreation area, and will improve safety for all modes of travel along Park Circle. 

This project has the potential for two different concepts, one on either side of the road, both including curb and gutter. Please refer to the exhibit map for current limits of the project. During the public outreach process the preferred concept will be decided. The current tentative project timeline will begin in May or June 2016 when the pedestrian and bicycle counts tend to peak and to have full construction drawings by the end of November 2016.
