Description

Aurora Water Operations is in need of a new Stormwater Decant Bay (SDB) facility to replace the previous facility that was converted to a solar field. SDB facilities are used by stormwater operations to facilitate the separation of liquids from solids when they do their cleaning operations. The main material that will be dried out is sediment from stormwater inlets, pipes, channels, and ponds. The SDB facility reduces disposal costs for the City by allowing a place for the solids to dry thereby reducing hauling costs.
