The City of Brighton (“City”) currently owns and operates a non-potable irrigation system which distributes water from a pond east of Brighton Oasis. This system, which serves Carmichael Park, Benedict Park, Memorial Park, and several school fields is currently not running at full capacity due to problems with the pump setup. This has led to potable water being used for irrigation, which is not sustainable due to Brighton’s growth and unprecedented water use. In order to have an operational pump system by the 2020 irrigation system, a new pump station is needed.

RFP #19-036
Due to the time constraints for this project (pumps need to be operational by June 1 2020, the City is seeking bids for an all-in-one skid mounted pump station, including the pumps, pump building, electrical and HVAC, and pump control system. The vendor is also responsible for the delivery of the pump station, at which point the construction crew (to be bid out at a later date) will be in charge of installation.
