Summary of Specifications:
The City of Brighton by and thorough its Procurement & Contracts Manager is soliciting bids from various vendors for construction services, supplies and materials to be used by the City on an on-call, as-needed basis for the completion of a large capital construction project. The City intends to serve as the General Contractor and call upon the selected vendors to provide services, supplies and materials in a timely manner through the issuance of a Work Order. The project is anticipated to last up to two (2) years and base bids for services, supplies and materials are expected to be held firm for at least ninety (90) days from the bid opening date specified within this solicitation. Adjustments to the base unit price after the initial ninety (90) days will be considered by the City from those vendors providing the most cost competitive services, supplies, and materials; all adjustments must be verified by a letter of increase directly from the manufacturer or as substantiated by the Denver/ Boulder CPI/U. The City, in its sole discretion, will determine which vendor provides the lowest cost, best meets the desired construction schedule and serves the best interests of the City for completion of the capital project. Vendors are encouraged to read the remaining terms and details contained within the Special Conditions section of this solicitation. It is not necessary for the vendor to bid on all line items. Vendors are asked to bid only on those items listed on the Bid Sheets for which they are qualified and able to furnish.
