ITB-12-055 - Painting of Bridge Complex Hwy 85 & Hwy 7

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Brighton by and thorough its Procurement & Contracts Manager is accepting Bids from qualified firms to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and material as necessary for the painting of the Highway 85 bridge complex located over Highway 7, and to provide all work and coordination related thereto as stated in the Technical Specifications of this Invitation to Bid. The Work consists of cleaning, surface preparation, including the removal of any abandoned sign supports, grouting cracks, painting the outer concrete faces, center columns and guard rail, and repainting the structural steel beams of a 170 foot long bridge structure. Included in this project is traffic coordination with the Colorado Department of Transportation. It is anticipated that traffic coordination will facilitate the need for nighttime work.
