The City of Brighton Utilities Department (City) is seeking a firm (CONSULTANT) to develop a Water Utility Master Plan (Master Plan) to ensure continual and perpetual outstanding service to our customers. The deal consultant will have a firm understanding of the water utility industry and visionaries to help develop the City’s future. The City envisions this plan being prepared in two phases over a two-year period:
Phase I: completion of a calibrated Hydraulic Model using Innovyze InfoWater Pro
Phase II: research of water supplies, treatment, and projected growth recommendations
The City intends to utilize the hydraulic model to assess fire flow capacity, water quality issues, hydraulic deficiencies, and impacts of new development. The Master Plan report will be used to support and direct new development, property acquisition (land and water), rate studies, capital improvement projects, and utility goals and policies.
