Summary of Specifications:
The work to be performed under this contract includes obtaining and installing traffic signal luminaires, signal heads, illuminated street name signs, opticoms, signage, and related work. The traffic signal poles and mast arms have been obtained by Commerce City; the poles and mast arms shall be picked up from 8602 Rosemary Street, Commerce City, Colorado 80022 and delivered to the project site at East 104th Avenue and Potomac Street. The poles and mast arms shall be installed with the other traffic signal equipment and all electrical wiring shall be completed. The work also includes the removal of concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and curb ramp, the installation of concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and concrete curb ramps, and grading and seeding. The concrete work includes the replacement of damaged concrete sidewalk and curb ramp on the southeast corner of the intersection at East 104th Avenue and Potomac Street. This work is shown in Exhibits A – B. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with the City, HOAs and Metro Districts, as applicable.
The work shall take place between no sooner than September 8, 2015 but must be substantially complete by October 30, 2015. Work shall be performed only between the hours of 8 A.M. and 4 P.M.
