RecycleCommodities16 - Recycling Commodities

The City Durango is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide all facilities, equipment, labor and services required to receive, process, use and/or market Single Stream Commodities collected by the City and delivered to a processing location. Delivery arrangements and transportation costs shall be clearly defined as specified in the pricing section of this proposal.
Proposers are required to offer a Recyclable Rebate per ton payable to the City for Recyclable Commodities delivered to the processing facility whereby the City coordinates and pays for transportation costs to the facility. Proposers shall also provide a price per ton for Recyclable Commodities where transportation is coordinated by the Proposer and transportation costs are included in the total Recyclable Rebate. Additionally, Proposers will be required to offer an "Up Market" revenue-sharing percentage to the City. Proposers shall clearly identify the Threshold Market Price where the Proposer is willing to share proceeds from the sale of Recyclable Commodities with the City. Proposers shall specify the Market Index that will be used to verify the Market Price and how this information can be accessed by the City. Proposers shall include transportation costs in bid options #2 and #4; cost per ton revenue included in these options should reflect in inclusion of transportation costs.
