Description

Notice is hereby given that the City of Edgewater (“City”) is accepting proposals from qualified Bidders (“Bidders”) for the construction of Phase 1 Improvements at Citizens’ Park located at 5401 W. 22nd Avenue.

The City will receive sealed bids for the Project until Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 12:00 pm.

The park has been designed and Construction Documents can be found in Attachment A. This project includes demolition, earthwork, hardscape, fencing, landscaping, electrical and site furnishings.

The goal of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to invite interested Bidders to provide quotes for construction of the park.

The expectation of this RFP and the City is that one Bidder will complete all work and/or act as the general contractor for the project.

The City is interested in receiving proposals from Bidders which have expertise in the delivery of the services noted in this RFP.

This document outlines the scope of work envisioned by the City, sets out the requirements for the RFP and specifies the process to be used by the City to award the bid.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Submissions must specifically and fully address the following:

(a) General Outline and Experience
Based on the information contained in the RFP package, interested Bidders are requested to provide, in reasonable detail, a written outline of their Proposal for completing the project on time and within their completed costs including supporting references for:
1. A summary of credentials qualifying them to complete this project;
2. List of completed projects of similar scale and cost; and
3. Statement of Qualifications (Attachment D) for references of previous work.

(b) Project Specifics
1. A list of any proposed subcontractors and their area(s) of expertise;
2. Completed Signature Page - Attachment E;
3. A detailed construction schedule confirming significant milestones and completion dates; and
4. Completed Bid Form – Attachment C with itemized project costs.
i. Pricing must include all costs, including but not limited to delivery, accessories, and options.
