RFP-020510/Engineering - Engineering Design and Review Services

Summary of Specifications:
Consultant shall attend City Council meetings as necessary. Consultant shall attend weekly Public Works & Utilities and Parks Recreation & Open Space coordination meetings. Provide design engineering, construction administration, surveying, and construction inspection services as requested by the City. Provide miscellaneous engineering services as requested by the City. Basic Services: Provide construction project inspection services as requested by the City. Provide design review and consultation to the City in regards to the City of Edgewater Roadway Design Criteria & Standards manual. Coordinate on street, utility, platting, and planning issues with the City Planner. Assist in yearly budgeting and Capital Improvements Program planning. Attend additional meetings with City staff as required. Additional Services Related to Developers: Review development plans for compliance with the City of Edgewater Roadway Design Criteria & Standards manual. Provide comments for revision to the developer. Meet with developers as necessary to coordinate projects within the City. Attend preconstruction conferences for development. Provide general overview inspection of all developer construction of public utilities and roadways. Review and process excavation permits. Inspect excavations in the public right of way for compliance to City and District standards.
