RFP-21-014 - 2021 Water Main Replacement Program

Statement of Purpose
The City of Englewood Utilities Department (“the City” or “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified Engineering Consulting firms to provide design and construction phase services for the replacement of approximately 4,200 feet of water distribution main. The scope of work includes a review  of the City’s water distribution network maps of the water main design areas provided by the City, new water main design, preparation of bid documents for construction, participation in pre-construction meetings, review of construction submittals and as-built documentation for the eight (8) projects identified in this RFP in Attachment A. Water line diameters for replacement range from 4-inch to 8-inch in diameter and the replacement design shall involve open cut installation of new 8-inch water main.  Existing pipeline shall either be removed or abandoned in-place for the existing replaced water lines.
