CDM Smith, on behalf of the City of Englewood is issuing an invitation for sealed bid for the construction of the Allen Water Treatment Ultraviolet Disinfection Facility.
Project Description: The Work of this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required and performing all construction, installation, and testing of improvements, modifications, and additions as shown on the Drawings and as specified. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Conversion of the existing eastern portion of the clearwell into a dry space to contain UV reactors, piping, valves, flow meters, sample pumps and associated process equipment; new UV building to house electrical equipment, a bridge crane, new plant electrical switchgear, instrumentation and controls, building HVAC and plumbing, new UV building finishes, building lighting including passive light sources, new yard piping and appurtenances; site power distribution, excavation, dewatering, and backfilling; yard excavation; site grading, site security; landscaping; connections to existing facilities; miscellaneous work; and cleanup.
