The City of Englewood Utilities Department (“the City” or “City”) is seeking written proposals from qualified engineering consulting firms (Consultant) to support Phase I project development activities for the City Ditch Piping Project (Project). The Project scope includes data acquisition and reconnaissance, alignment evaluation, public outreach, permitting and compliance requirements, and other preliminary design necessary to pipe the approximately 2.5 miles of open channel reach of Englewood’s City Ditch between the City’s McLellan Pump Station and the Allen Water Treatment Plant (AWTP).

A recommended pre-proposal conference will be held on July 22, 2022 at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be conducted in the Red Rocks conference room at Englewood City Hall (1000 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, CO 80110).

Following the pre-proposal meeting, a voluntary site visit of City Ditch adjacent to the McLellan Pump Station is available for interested proposers. There will be a 30-minute travel time for interested proposers to travel to McLellan Pump Station. Directions to the site will be provided at the pre-proposal meeting. The site visit will be led by City Staff, limited to two attendees per proposer, and a maximum duration of 1 hour. The focus of the site visit will be to view City Ditch near the City’s McLellan Pump Station. Outside of the site visit, proposers are encouraged to visit the publicly accessible sections of the ditch.
