Summary of Specifications:
The City of Englewood is beginning a three-year large meter upgrade program that will begin in 2005. Approximately 318 obsolete outside meters that cannot be fitted with Itron radio frequency components, ranging in size from 1 1/2 inches to 6 inches, will be replaced. The City will solicit services from qualified contractors under a separate Invitation for Bid, to install meters over the three year period. The intention of this Invitation to Bid is to provide price protection and warehousing for meters that will be replaced.
