Description

The City of Englewood Utilities Department (“the City” or “City”) is seeking proposals, through this Request for Proposal (RFP), from qualified consulting firms to perform a current assessment, goal setting, alternatives analysis, optimization, and 30% design of improvements to the solids handling process at Allen Water Treatment Plant (Allen WTP). The consultant will coordinate with City staff and a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) to improve the solids handling capacity of Allen WTP and ensure the successful integration of a centrifuge currently in procurement. A future phase will carry this effort into final design and construction.

Price proposals must be submitted as a separate file and include a cover sheet, price proposal, and supporting material for the price proposal.
The Consultant’s price proposal shall include the following:

Detailed cost breakdown that includes estimated labor hours and cost for each team member and task, with summaries of each for the overall project. Labor hours and cost of Services by Others shall be included.
Detailed schedule
Assumptions and exceptions
Project team titles and billing rates

Services by others with associated costs and labor hours. The above-listed items shall include the efforts of any sub-consultants in the project team.
