RFP-21-012 - Underwriter Services

The City of Englewood (the “City”) is seeking proposals to serve as underwriter on its estimated $10 million Stormwater Revenue Bonds, Series 2021 (the “Bonds”).  The Bonds will be issued by the City’s Stormwater Enterprise (the “Enterprise”) and will be secured by a net revenue pledge. Proceeds will be used to finance approximately $7 million in Stormwater infrastructure improvements along the South Englewood Basin from Cherokee Street to Clarkson Street (the “Project”) and to repay an existing $3 million loan from the City’s general fund.  The total cost of the project will be approximately $10 million; the City began increasing Stormwater rates annually over a period of three years on January 1, 2020 to increase revenues to support the financing of the Project.
