Description

The City of Englewood Utilities Department (“the City” or “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors to exercise valves within Englewood’s potable water service area. There are approximately 2,765 valves and each valve needs to be exercised. The timeframe for exercising valves is 3 years, with the 924, 922, and 919 valves, respectively, to be exercised per year. The sizes of valves in the City range from 4” to 36”. All work will be primarily located within the City of Englewood, Colorado. Valve locations will be provided to the Contractor. The Contractor will be required to provide their own electronic devices, vac, and operate the valves in accordance with AWWA standards.
