RFP-06-105 - Vehicle Wrecker & Towing Services

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the City of Englewood to award a contract for towing services for abandoned and non-abandoned vehicles. The contract may also be used for City of Englewood vehicles that have become disabled, including flat tire changing, jump starts and other minor services for City. The Contractor shall maintain a principal place of business and vehicle storage lot within the City of Englewood or no farther than 5 miles from the City limits. The contractor shall provide all contracted towing services twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, including all holidays. The maximum response time to any call for contracted towing services at any location within the City limits of Englewood shall be fifteen (15) minutes from time of notification to time of arrival on the scene from which the tow is required.
