Summary of Specifications:
The project generally consists of furnishing and installing 418 feet of 8-inch PVC sewer main, removal and installation of two (2) 48" diameter sanitary sewer manholes, 27 service tap connections, removal of concrete alley (820 SY), resurfacing of two (2) alleys with concrete pavement (1,625 SY), asphalt patching, constuction surveying and traffic control. Contractors submitting bids over $50,000 must be prequalified in accordance with the City's "Rules and Procedures for Prequalification of Contractors." Bids received from non-prequalified contractors will not be opened. Application forms for prequalification are available at the Administration Office of the Department of Public Works and Planning (970/256-4126) or at the Public Works & Planning/Engineering page at www.gjcity.org. Applications are required to be submitted two weeks prior to the bid opening.
