Summary of Specifications:
The City of Grand Junction will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 250 North Fifth Street, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501, prior to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, for the 2014 Asphalt Overlay Project. All bids will be opened and read aloud at the City Hall Auditorium immediately following the submittal deadline The Project generally consists of 20,000 square yards of asphalt milling and a new 1 ½ “and 2” overlay of hot mix asphalt, approximately 3,250 tons of grading SX (PG 76-28), and approximately 820 tons of grading SX (PG 64-22) on existing streets within the City of Grand Junction.
