Description

The City of Grand Junction prioritizes resource stewardship which has a foundation in clean air and water, and responsible use of all natural resources. In an effort to increase energy efficiency, the City of Grand Junction, in collaboration with Xcel Energy, completed an energy audit to identify energy efficiency opportunities that will aid the City in reducing energy cost and consumption. As a result of the audit, the City of Grand Junction is to replace or retrofit various lighting in twenty-two (22) buildings owned or managed by the City to LED lighting.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Walk Down Meeting: Interested Firms/Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit inclusive of walking down each identified building. The purpose of this site visit meeting will be to inspect and to clarify the contents of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The site visit meeting shall take place on April 24 & 25, 2023, at 9:00am starting at the City Hall Building and continuing to the other facilities. Nothing stated during the site visit meeting will modify the solicitation. Only information provided in an addendum can modify the solicitation.
