Summary of Specifications:
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by the City of Grand Junction, Colorado on behalf of the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD). The purpose of this RFP is to obtain proposals from qualified professional firms to provide homeless camp cleanup. Safety equipment such as masks, gloves, boots, etc., shall be provided by the contractor. Biohazard concerns should be assumed, there could be feces, needles, etc. at any given camp site. The size of the work crew/s shall be site specific. TWO (2) SITE VISITS WILL BE OFFERED FOR ALL PROSPECTIVE FIRMS INTERESTED IN SEEING A CAMP PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL. It is recommended that a representative of the interested firm attend one of the visits. Interested firms who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a proposal. Site visits will be held the morning of August 26, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. and the afternoon of August 27, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. INTERESTED FIRMS MUST COMMUNICATE NO LATER THAN TWO (2) DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED VISIT TO CONFIRM ATTENDANCE AND PROVIDE THE NAME(S) OF THE ATTENDEE. The location shall be determined by GJPD prior to the visit and will be communicated to all interested firms.
