The City of Grand Junction, Colorado is interested in purchasing One (1) New RV/Travel Trailer to be used as a Mobile Visitor Center by the Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Bureau (GJVCB). In comparing responses, consideration will not be confined to price only. The successful vendor will be one whose product is judged to best serve the interests of the Owner. The Owner is looking for opportunities to cross-advertise or negotiate a cooperative agreement for this project where the awarded contractor is provided promotional advertising in exchange for a reduced price. This RV/Travel Trailer will be used as a mobile visitor center. It will be strategically located at numerous community events that will have maximum exposure to visitors and local residents. The primary location will be on Main Street, downtown Grand Junction, near Two Rivers Convention Center and the three hotel properties. Volunteers will be on hand during events to assist people with a variety of inquiries. Other events will include, Grand Junction Off-Road and Music Festival, Farmer’s Markets on Thursdays, JUCO Baseball Tournament, Downtown Car Show, Downtown Art Festival, July 4th parade, and other Downtown events. It will also be located at other area events such as Colorado Mountain Winefest, Tour of the Moon Cycling event, and the Grand Junction Air Show. Potential exposure at all of these events could exceed over 100,000 people.
