The primary goal for this project is to design three phases of a major storm drain trunk line in accordance with
the North Greeley and Downtown Storm Drainage Master Plan, 12th Street Outfall Preliminary Design, 7th
Avenue Preliminary Design, 12th Street Outfall Benefit Cost Analysis (2020), and additional City
recommendations.
City of Greeley priorities for this project include:
1. Coordinate for risk and potential conflicts with 12th Street Outfall Phase 1, to be constructed in
2023.
2. Coordinate with stakeholders, subconsultants, and Construction Manager at Risk to produce a
constructible plan set that is cost effective.
3. Minimize risk with utility conflicts and crossings of railroads and CDOT right-of-way.
4. Minimize operations and maintenance challenges with the final product.
5. Ensure public safety with final recommended infrastructure.
6. Assist with preparation of federal grant applications and administration of any grant awards.
7. Introduce effective, aesthetically pleasing and maintainable water quality infrastructure.
8. Improve profiles of roadway curb and gutter.
Other expectations:
1. Consultant should be prepared to meet at least once per month with the City Team, with other
meetings as necessary dependent on workload and schedules.
2. Frequent, honest and straightforward communication will be a must.
