IFB-FL12-03-057 - 2012 Water Main Cleaning and Lining

Summary of Specifications:
The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all equipment, tools, material and labor necessary for cleaning and centrifugal lining with cement mortar unlined cast iron and/or steel water mains in place; and shall include appurtenant work necessary to accomplish the complete job. The Contractor shall supply bypass service to those connections on the pipe to be cleaned and cement-mortar lined. No deviations from these specifications shall be permitted unless first approved in writing by the Director and/or Engineer of the City of Greeley Water Department. The pipeline to be cleaned and cement-mortar lined under this contract is 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 inch unlined cast iron installed between 1921-1949. Total length of project–32,400 feet. These lines are located in the East and Central area of Greeley generally between 5th and 22nd Streets and between 8th and 40th Avenues.
