F24-09-080 - Communication and Engagement Departmental Assessment

The Communication and Engagement Department manages the City of Greeley’s Brand Identity, its Comprehensive Marketing Campaigns, and the City’s website, social media and other digital platforms. The department serves as a resource for other city departments, providing marketing services and advising on opportunities and best practices; traditional and emerging tools; design and messaging tactics; and also helps to facilitate and leverage citywide branding, engagement, and sponsorship opportunities. In an effort to enhance the city’s customer experience, align marketing and communications efforts, and to clearly communicate our brand, this work is housed within a centralized department.
To understand the department’s current capacity as it relates to the city’s overall vision and strategic plan, department leadership is seeking objective insight and guidance into its mission, vision, its current three-year workplan, staffing, structure, budget and other resources or functions that prove useful in this overall assessment. This initial study will be used to inform the department’s long-term, strategic planning to accomplish its objectives and goals.
