Summary of Specifications:
Remove existing system (dimensional shingle) to the deck, replace decking if needed. Install new Owens Corning Deck Defense Synthetic felt and a 20 year non-prorated rated fiberglass reinforced asphalt dimensional shingle complete with ridge shingles. Install ice and water shield at eave edge and at the valleys and pipe penetrations, install new edge metal, install new pipe flashings, and vents. Remove existing gutters, prep or replace facia if needed. Prime and paint, paint to match existing. Install new gutters downspouts .024 gauge material, approx slope of 1 inch per 20 feet, use gutter wedges to hold the gutter level on the sloped facia, cover the open gutters with leaf out gutter guard. Current system is cracked and is leaking in spots, the south gutters were replace in 2012 and no repair is needed to them, the north gutter is full of heat tape to prevent ice and won’t drain properly as it fills with tree leaves and other debris. There is minor damage to the ridge and exposed nail heads in the field of the roof, there are some broken tabs due to wind damage that appear to have been glued back down, there appears to be no edge metal on the south side and there is water damage to that facia. Original building was built in1964, square footage of 1272 with a finished basement of 1272 sq ft, garage sq ft of 650 and covered walk way of 389 sq ft. ranch 1 story exterior is frame masonry veneer, information per weld county assessor.
