The City of Greeley has experienced significant growth over the past decade which is expected to continue as the Northern Colorado market becomes a new hub for economic activity and residential development. The City’s leadership is focused on ensuring Greeley is ready to adapt to this growth environment by adopting best practices from local government to ensure City resources are used efficiently and effectively. Accurate financial modeling in the areas of capital improvement planning, enterprise resources, debt planning and more are key to ensuring this vision of sound financial stewardship. In addition to these general government activities,  Greeley’s Water and Sewer Department is more specifically preparing to meet the long-term growth of the City of Greeley by securing additional water supplies, maintaining and expanding its water and sewer infrastructure, and by performing long-term financial planning necessary to fund its capital program and growth in operations while keeping rates affordable for its utility customers.
