94004 - Xcel Street Light Conversion Design Build

In early 2020 the sale of Xcel Energy street lights in Greenwood Village was approved.  The City is required to complete the physical conversion of all street lights in Greenwood Village from Xcel Energy ownership to City of Greenwood Village ownership within 18 months.  The conversion consists of creating access points that separate the Greenwood Village infrastructure from the Xcel Energy infrastructure.  Xcel has identified 205 locations where the access point conversions will take place. These access points may be meter pedestals or inline fuses in access points outside of Xcel cabinets.  The City is looking to hire a project team that assist in the design and construct the required infrastructure.
