Summary of Specifications:
The City of Lakewood, Department of Community Resources is requesting proposals from qualified landscape architectural, or planning consultants to provide the following services: Master Site Planning, design development, phasing plan, and cost estimates for the redevelopment / development of three park facilities: Ray Ross/Deane Elementary, a community park and elementary school; Surfside, a recently closed outdoor pool; and the Whitlock Recreation Center, a partially developed site around the new Charles Whitlock Recreation Center. The City may award a separate contract for each site project individually or as a whole to one or more consulting team(s). The City desires to complete the individual planning processes by the end of June 2006. Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., MT (our clock) September 15, 2005 at which time an evaluation period will occur and the final consultant selection shall be completed by October 20, 2005. Public meetings and planning processes will not start until after November 2, 2005.
