RFP-0008-2017 - 2017 Breezeway Stair Repairs/Replacement

The Littleton Center is the main administrative building for the City of Littleton. The stairs leading from the building’s courtyard to the 2nd story breezeway are in need of either being replaced or repaired due to years of damage from deicing chemicals and salts and summer/winter climatic conditions. This project seeks to (1) extend the useful life of the stairs or (2) total replacement. For option 1, the scope of work will include the top, middle, and lower landings, all necessary repairs to the top, side and underside portions of the structural concrete, including any rebar, replacing damaged or loose pavers and any damaged or missing grout or paver bedding materials. The project does not include any repairs to the 2nd floor breezeway or ground level walkway. Option 2, will involve the demolition and replacement of the current stairs with a matching set of stairs.
