The City of Littleton Public Works is concentrating on maintaining and preserving the condition of existing roadway infrastructure throughout the City. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete in place the application of emulsified asphalt and aggregate cover coat to those streets listed on the Location Schedule.
It is anticipated that is will require approximately 158,034 SY of Slurry Seal, Type II and 24,425 SY of ¼” Chip Seal w/ Fog Coat. Additionally there will be approximately 486 SY of partial-depth (2”) HMA patching on the Chip Seal work area and 3,148 SY of partial-depth (2”) HMA patching in the slurry seal work area. Patches range in size from 5 SY to 175 SY, with a median range of 10 SY to 30 SY. Other anticipated work includes temporary traffic control, cleaning of manholes and valves, removal of existing pavement markings and application of applicable pavement markings.
