Summary of Specifications:
This project includes all materials, equipment, labor and related items necessary to complete work in conformity of the Plans and Specifications. The project consists of providing all material, equipment and labor for constructing bituminous pavement overlays, reconstructed pavement sections, and asphalt patching on selected streets and parking lots throughout the City. Work for the asphalt overlays and parking lots shall include, but not be limited to: cold milling existing surfaces, patching local failures, placing of geotextile (paving) fabric, replacing traffic signal loop detectors, raising manholes and valve boxes, temporary and permanent pavement markings/striping, and traffic control.
Work for the reconstructed roadways shall include, but not be limited to: asphalt removal & pulverizing, scarifying, re-compacting and shaping subgrade, construction of asphalt pavement sections, raising manholes and valve boxes, placing temporary and permanent pavement markings/striping, and traffic control.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 17, 2007 at the Service Center (address above). The deadline for questions will be 4:00 p.m., April 19, 2007. If required, addenda will be issued April 23, 2007.
