IFB-MD-21002 - 2021 Asphalt Rehabilitation Projects

SCOPE: The work performed under this Contract includes the rehabilitation of existing asphalt streets.  This work includes, but is not limited to, patching of pavement failures, asphalt pavement material leveling course, cold milling, installation of pavement fabric, asphalt paving material overlays, pavement markings, minor subgrade treatment/processing and surface/subsurface utility adjustments. The work also includes limited pavement crack sealing in parking lot areas. Work is to be completed on those streets listed in Appendix A and/or as directed by the Project Manager. The Contractor will supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The total quantities and type of work estimated in the Bid Schedule is representative of the estimated quantities; however, these quantities may be revised by the City to represent actual field conditions at the time of construction.
 
BID CONDITIONS: In addition to submitting a list of contract(s) on hand, the Contractor shall have completed at least 3 projects of similar magnitude and scope in the last 3 years. Utilize ATTACHMENT B to document and submit these projects.
 
It is mandatory that all Contractors fully complete the Comparable Construction Project Experience form and provide all materials requested herein. Any Contractor that fails to comply with this requirement may be considered non‐responsive.
 
Contractor shall submit Subcontractor qualification data per the requirements set forth in “Information and Instructions to Bidders” Section 16.
