Description

As part of a comprehensive program to update and strengthen its cash, treasury and investment management programs, the City of Longmont is seeking proposals from qualified Federal Reserve member banks or State of Colorado chartered banks to provide general banking services.

Excluded from this RFP are:
• Investment of the bulk of the City’s cash
• Procurement card services
• Proceeds from bond issues and paying agent/trustee for bond issues

This RFP is intended to cover all other City bank accounts and banking services.

The objective of this RFP is to identify the banking institution(s) that can offer the highest quality services at the lowest cost to the City. The City’s banking relationship is an integral part of the Finance Department’s cash management program. It is anticipated the banking relationship resulting from this RFP will provide the City with the necessary tools to enable it to effectively respond to the financial management challenges in the years ahead.
