RFP-PJ-7529 - Callahan House Caterer

Summary of Specifications:
The Callahan House Caterer is responsible for planning, purchasing, preparing and serving all food and beverages associated with events with 50 guests or less held at the Callahan House. The contracted caterer must have a health department approved kitchen where primary food preparation is done. The health-department approved Callahan House kitchen is used secondarily as a final prep kitchen. The Caterer will also be responsible for setup, take down and clean up at the completion of the event at the Callahan House. With guest lists of 50 or more guests the client may select a full-service caterer of their choice. Perspective clients are told of the contracted Callahan House caterer so as to allow the contracted caterer an opportunity to bid for larger events. This contract is for a yearlong commitment with an opportunity to renew up to three additional years. Presently, one club requires a lunch meal service on a monthly basis, and some of the remaining 10 clubs require just a holiday meal or a spring luncheon. A club menu for monthly and holiday choices are provided to club members only; this cost is complemented by the yearly dues paid by club members.
