IFB-422026 - City of Longmont Traffic Signal Upgrades

SCOPE: The primary work to be performed under this Contract includes the reconstruction of three (3) existing traffic signals in the City of Longmont (Mountain View Avenue & Francis Street, 9th Avenue & Francis Street, 9th Avenue & Kimbark Street), signal head and back plate installations at thirteen (13) traffic signals, and milling and striping at one (1) traffic signal. The Contractor will be responsible for installing and procuring all materials.

The DBE goal on this project is 10.5%.

BID CONDITIONS (Minimum Mandatory Qualifications):

• Bidders must be prequalified with CDOT.  The prime contractor shall be prequalified in at least one of the following CDOT work codes: 01-General Construction; 05-Paving (general); 08-Portland Cement Concrete; 12-Curb, Gutter, Flatwork; 20-Electrical, Signals.
• Bidders must have relevant experience in installing new traffic signals for municipalities and must provide evidence demonstrating successful completion of at least 5 projects of similar scope in the last 5 years.
• Bidder’s project manager or foreman must have an IMSA traffic signal technician level 3 field technician certification.
• Bids must include completed and signed CDOT Form 606 – Anti-Collusion Affidavit, CDOT Form 1413 – Bidder’s List, and CDOT Form 1414 – Anticipated DBE Participation Plan.  Bids that don’t include these completed and signed forms will be considered non-responsive.  All CDOT forms can be found at https://www.codot.gov/library/forms.
