RFP-PJ-12003 - DESIGN SERVICES ST. VRAIN GREENWAY, PHASE 11

Summary of Specifications:
This phase will include creation of a trailhead and district park along the trail route. The work will utilize the previously constructed trail, bridge, a pond overlook and irrigation improvements and also incorporate the city’s preliminary plans for Boston Avenue across the property. Design tasks will include new roadway improvements off Martin Street to the trailhead location, relocation of an existing detention pond along that road route, parking, a restroom / changing room facility, picnic shelter(s), a whitewater park within the St. Vrain Creek channel, including bankside seating, bank protection, channel and bank stabilization, site furnishings, signage utilizing the St. Vrain Greenway Sign System and Graphics Standards, a prairie dog area (with appropriate barriers), landscaping and irrigation, and other improvements as determined by the public master plan update meetings required as part of this RFP. The awarded contractor will update the existing master plan as well.
