Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE: The work performed under this Contract includes work necessary to repair roadway or pedestrian trail systems damaged during recent flooding. These items include, but are not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing or previously existing concrete, placement of flow fill under existing concrete, placement of structural fill, placement of topsoil, water pumping, water diversions, debris removal, and placement of crusher fines trail. The CONTRACTOR should anticipate variation in depths and areas required to be filled. The CONTRACTOR shall supply all labor,equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these pecifications. Bid Condition: In addition to submitting a list of contract(s) on hand, the CONTRACTOR shall submit a list of all projects of similar magnitude and scope completed in the last three (3) years. Utilize ATTACHMENT B to document and submit these projects.CONTRACTOR should be aware that another project (Miscellaneous Roadway/Trail Repair Projects) of similar scope within the City of Longmont is available for bid separately from the project herein. Scope of work, quantities, and project schedule for the Miscellaneous Roadway/Trail Repair Projects are similar to those described herein with slight variations. Both projects will be constructed concurrently with similar estimated start and finish dates. Should the CONTRACTOR bid for and win both contracts, the CONTRACTOR shall be expected to document how contract obligations for both projects will be fully met. For example, the CONTRACTOR should provide a schedule of available company resources accompanied by how these resources will be allocated for both projects. Details should include crew numbers and sizes, supervisory staff, and equipment.It is mandatory that all CONTRACTORs fully complete theComparable Construction Project Experience form and provide all materials requested herein. Any CONTRACTOR that fails to comply with this requirement could be considered non-responsive. CONTRACTOR shall submit Subcontractor qualification data per the requirements set forth in “Information and Instructions to Bidders” Section 16.
