Summary of Specifications:
This bid consists of two scope of works – A & B. Descriptions are as follows: The location of work to be completed in Schedule A is generally along the western side of Hwy 287 / Main Street and a portion of the northern side of Pike Road near the Hwy 287 intersection, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County. It includes the installation of a KISSS underground irrigation system and landscaping. Additional work consists of grading, finish grading, electric (irrigation system), weed management, and trees, shrubs, mulch and sod. The location of the Schedule B work is generally within the Primary Greenway east of the Burlington Northern – Santa Fe railroad tracks north of 21st Avenue and along the northern side of 21st Avenue, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County. The work in Bid Schedule B is necessary to complete development improvements to meet City Standards and includes repairing the irrigation system as described on the punchlist included with the plans and compiled by City staff (including installation of a new Toro Sentinel controller); removal and replacement of dead trees and shrubs as shown on the plans; pruning shrubs away from the concrete trail edges; weed spraying and removal in shrub beds and tree rings; and re-mulching shrub beds and tree rings to provide a 4” total depth.
