IFB-MD-15057 - Main Street Pavement Reconstruction Project

Summary of Specifications:
The work to be performed under this contract includes the removal of asphalt pavement and replacement with concrete pavement on Main Street (US 287) between Ken Pratt Boulevard (SH 119) and 3rd Avenue. Major work items include: removals, grading, subgrade preparation, aggregate base course, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drainage improvements, pavement markings, traffic signal modifications, erosion control and traffic control. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the work. This is a CDOT local agency project that includes federal funding. This project has a DBE goal of 10% and an OJT goal of 640 hours. . This project is within CDOT right of way; therefore, prospective bidders must be prequalified by CDOT. The prime contractor shall be prequalified in at least one of the following CDOT Work Codes: 01 – General Construction, 02 – Grading (general), 05 – Paving (general) or 08 – Portland Cement Concrete.
