RFP-MD-18023 - Nelson-Flanders Water Treatment Plant Expansion Planning Study

The purpose of this RFP is to select an engineering consulting firm to provide a planning level study that develops a focused expansion plan for NFWTP. The project deliverable for the study will be a preliminary design including cost and schedule for one, preferred NFWTP expansion option recommended by the consultant. The City desires to award the planning study to a team with substantial experience in surface water treatment design and risk mitigation (i.e., mitigating the risk of interruptions to continuous potable water supply to the distribution system).  Significant weight will be given to the experience of the firm, team, the approach to the scope of services, and the cost/schedule for the report. Respondents are expected to exercise their expertise and creativity in developing efficient and reliable solutions for expanding treatment capacity and mitigating the risk of treatment outages.
