IFB-MD-17060 - Pleasant Valley Reservoir Spillway Modifications

SCOPE: The Work of this project consists generally of procurement and installation of all necessary materials; instruments, mechanical equipment; and all appurtenances to construct the following:
 -A new piped service spillway through the dam embankment and a trapezoidal open channel principal spillway. The service spillway includes a new concrete intake structure, 18-inch diameter concrete encased ductile iron pipe through the dam embankment, 18-inch diameter C905 PVC pipe to a concrete baffled outlet structure that will discharge water into the Rough and Ready ditch.
 -The principal spillway will include a cast-in-place concrete crest wall on the northern side of the access road; placement of new riprap, stripping, stockpile and placement of salvaged riprap; and installation of grouted riprap.
 -The secondary spillway will include concrete monument markers with a bronze top.
 -The work also includes, but is not limited to, quality control testing and reporting, erosion and sediment control, excavation, dewatering, baffled outlet structure, permitting, grading, etc., and all other related work.

BID CONDITIONS: The Contractor shall provide evidence that the Contractor is qualified to perform the work indicated in the Contract Documents. The Contractor and the Contractor’s on-site representative who has immediate charge of the project shall each have satisfactorily completed the same responsibilities on at least one jurisdictional SEO dam project similar in size and complexity of this project within the last 5 years.
