Summary of Specifications:
*Please Note: Bidder attendance at pre-bid meeting and site visit/job walk is MANDATORY.* . SCOPE: The primary work to be performed under this contract includes Construction of the Ralph Price Reservoir Emergency Spillway Bridge and Access Road. The bridge provides access to the crest of Button Rock Dam from Longmont Dam Road. Construction includes, but is not limited to: erosion control, clearing and grubbing, site grading, concrete flatwork, bridge abutments, superstructure erection, roadway approaches, storm water culvert piping, signage, and re-vegetation. The Contractor shall supply all superintendence, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. . BID CONDITIONS: 1. The City of Longmont is seeking qualified Contractors with applicable experience comparable to the Scope of Work described above. Qualified Contractor’s shall have successfully completed the construction of at least three (3) projects of similar scope and complexity to this bridge project within the last seven (7) years. These projects shall be listed in the projects of similar nature when completing the Bidder’s Qualification Data form, Item 13, included with the Bid Submittal Documents. Any Contractor that fails to comply with this requirement could be considered non-responsive. 2. Contractor shall list their subcontractor for the prestressed concrete bridge superstructure and their subcontractor for the prefabricated steel truss superstructure and provide the requested information for each as listed on the Subcontractors and Related Data form included with the Bid Submittal Documents. Any Contractor that fails to comply with this requirement could be considered non-responsive.
