IFB-MD-21099 - South St. Vrain Creek Pipeline Pump Station Construction

Important Note: Bidder attendance at pre-bid meeting and site visit is mandatory.

Scope:
The primary work to be performed under this contract is the construction of the South St. Vrain Creek Pipeline Pump Station Project. Construction includes, but is not limited to: mobilization; clearing and grubbing; tree removal and protection; demolition of existing utilities; protection of existing utilities; site grading; excavation; rock excavation; construction of a reinforced concrete wet well structure founded on matt slab foundation and associated slide gate, bar screen, sump pump and grates; installation and testing of an Owner-supplied packaged pump station founded on matt slab foundation; parking lot improvements; yard piping, sampling stations, buried valves and cathodic protection; installation of electrical services; water control and stormwater pollution control; irrigation diversion structure and piping; fencing, seeding and revegetation; coordination with adjacent private property owners, private ditch lateral shareholders, and the Town of Lyons.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
The City of Longmont is seeking qualified contractors with applicable experience comparable to the Scope of Work, as described above, for the South St. Vrain Creek Pipeline Pump Station Project. Bidders must meet or exceed the following minimum qualification criteria in order to be considered for award:

1. Qualified contractors shall have successfully completed the construction of at least three (3) qualifying projects of similar scope and complexity to this pump station project within the last seven (7) years.  Similar projects must be listed when completing Attachment D – Bidder’s Comparable Project Data form, included with the Bid Submittal Documents. Any Bidder that fails to comply with this requirement may be considered non-responsive.
2. The Contractor’s representative who is directly responsible for managing the project and the Contractor’s on-site representative who has immediate charge on a daily basis shall each have satisfactorily completed the same responsibilities on at least one (1) qualifying project of similar scope and complexity in the last five (5) years. Contractor’s representative(s) shall be listed as one of the principal members when completing the Attachment F – Bidder’s Officials and Key Personnel Data form, included with the Bid Submittal Documents. Any Bidder that fails to comply with this requirement may be considered nonresponsive.
3. Qualifying projects must have been performed principally by the Contractor’s own forces. Work performed principally by other contractors or subcontractors will not be considered as qualifying.
