Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE: This project includes pedestrian underpass construction at two separate locations in Longmont. Major work items include: removals, excavation and site grading, erosion control, installation of precast box culvert underpass and wingwall construction, existing box culvert extensions, concrete and rock retaining wall construction, storm drainage improvements, asphalt detour and concrete pavement construction, installation of concrete curb and gutter, bikeway and sidewalk construction, electrical/lighting improvements, landscaping, irrigation and traffic control.
The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project plans and specifications. This is a CDOT local agency project that includes federal funding. This project has a DBE goal of 10% and an OJT goal of 640 hours. A portion of the project is within CDOT right of way; therefore, prospective bidders must be prequalified by CDOT. The prime contractor shall be prequalified in at least one of the following CDOT Work Codes: 01 – General Construction, 02 – Grading (general), 09 – Structures, 10 – Small Bridges, or 11 – Minor Structures.
